i-Lines

The i-Lines app presents technology related news headlines publicly syndicated by multiple news publishers. Headlines, along with the source and publication date are displayed in a scrollable list. The headlines are ordered chronologically with the most recent articles at the top. Unread headlines have a green colour scheme, while those that have been read are blue! When a headline is clicked, the related article is presented to the user. A tab control, at the bottom of the screen, provides 3 different views of the headlines: 'all headlines', 'unread headlines' and 'read headlines'. The settings view allows the user to control the length of the newsfeed in terms of days of history that it goes back. One can also hide or highlight particular sources from the setting screen. The user can then either click the save button to accept the changes made in the settings view or cancel to return to the newsfeed without making any changes. The settings screen also provides a feedback button to email the developer about the app. A refresh button manually downloads the latest articles.
